Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is nothing more than a mix of different martial arts. By combining different techniques, MMA has emerged, a martial art that is very effective and complete. The MMA style we practice is called 'Shooto' and has its origins in Japan. Shooto (修 斗) stands for 'learning to fight'. The underlying idea is that the Shooto practitioner will not only become stronger on the mat or in the ring, but will also be better able to cope with all sorts of problems in daily life. Our MMA training consists of a warm-up, technique training, sparring with other participants and a cooling down. Our group consists of absolute beginners, recreationists and advanced.
