Emad Ahmedin
head coach
Emad Ahmedin has emerged as a key figure in the growth of no-gi grappling in the Netherlands, leading 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Amsterdam with a mix of competitive experience and community focus. Starting in MMA before fully committing to the 10th Planet system, he built his name through consistent performances, earning titles and competing across Europe.
Beyond his achievements on the mats, Emad’s true impact lies in how he has cultivated a thriving grappling culture off the mats. Through organizing high-level training camps that attract athletes from across Europe, he has helped position Amsterdam as a hub for no-gi development and knowledge exchange. His involvement in events like the ADCC Dutch Open further reflects his commitment to elevating the competitive scene, creating platforms for both upcoming and elite athletes to test themselves.
As both a competitor and organizer, Emad represents a new generation of jiu-jitsu leaders—those who not only chase personal success but actively build ecosystems around them. His influence continues to shape the Dutch and European grappling landscape, bridging innovation, competition, and community under the evolving philosophy of the 10th Planet system.
Jeremy Fields
Founding Sponsor
Jeremy Fields was one of the early adopters of the 10th Planet system, embracing its no-gi philosophy well before it gained traction across Europe. As a 4th degree black belt under Eddie Bravo, he has been instrumental in introducing and developing the system outside of the United States. Through years of teaching, competing, and traveling, Jeremy helped lay the foundation for what has become a rapidly growing no-gi scene.
His impact goes beyond just his own progression. By hosting seminars, competing across different circuits, and organizing training camps, he created opportunities for athletes in Europe—especially in the Netherlands—to access high-level no-gi instruction and connect with the broader 10th Planet network. In many ways, Jeremy helped ignite the early spark of no-gi jiu-jitsu in the region, influencing a generation of practitioners and contributing to the steady rise of the scene today.
